Succeeding with sins more likely?

I read in another blog that products are more likely to succeed if they feed a sin than if they feed a virtue.

The seven deadly sins being: greed, envy, sloth, gluttony, pride, wrath and lust. Even without much deep thinking, anyone could come up with products appealing to the sinful side of our nature.

-----
The seven heavenly virtues being: faith, hope, love, courage, justice, temperance and prudence.

What products could be successful in each of these categories?

Dave Smith, the co-founder of Smith and Hawken, wrote a book called to be of use. In it he promulgates the virtues as a way of life, a pathway to soulful meaning and towards sustainable practises at work.
